  • Can I call and send SMS on my Europe Unlimited eSIM?

    Halo eSIMs are exclusively data-only eSIMs. While you can engage in voice calls and messaging through WhatsApp, Facetime, and other widely used VOIP apps, traditional phone calls and SMS are not supported.

  • Is my device compatible with this Europe Unlimited eSIM?

    Most phones from 2018 onwards support eSIM -- iPhone XR and XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, Galaxy S20 and newer. If it's a reasonably recent phone, you're probably fine. Check our device compatibility page if you want to be sure.

  • When should I set up my Europe Unlimited eSIM?

    Before you leave, while you're still on Wi-Fi. Your plan only starts counting when you first connect to a network at your destination, so there's no cost to installing early. Europe Unlimited plans run from 5 to 20 days from that first connection. One less thing to sort at the airport.

  • Which networks does my Europe Unlimited eSIM use?

    Each plan lists its own networks and speed policy under Plan details on this page. Which networks a plan uses is set by our network partners and can change without notice, so we show them per plan rather than for the destination as a whole. Your device finds and connects to a supported network on its own when you arrive.

  • Can I top up my Europe Unlimited eSIM?

    Not here: Europe Unlimited is served by Unlimited (daily) plans, and top-ups are not available on Unlimited plans. To keep using data after your plan ends, buy a new plan from your order page.

  • Can I hotspot with my Europe Unlimited eSIM?

    Usually, yes. Halo adds no separate hotspot cap and does not meter hotspot data differently, so where the local network allows it you can share your connection with a laptop, tablet or travel companion. Hotspot is provided by the network operator in Europe Unlimited rather than by Halo, so it is not something we can guarantee on every plan.
