If you accidentally deleted your Halo eSIM

If you removed your Halo eSIM profile from your device, get in touch before you buy anything else. Talk to us and we will tell you where your order stands and what can be done for it.

What happens when you delete an eSIM

When you remove an eSIM profile from your device, the profile is erased from your phone. Your order and any remaining data allowance are unaffected by that: only the profile on the device has been removed.

Whether the same profile can be downloaded again afterwards is decided by the network operator that issued it, not by Halo. Some profiles can be installed again from the original activation code, and others cannot be recovered once they are deleted. We can tell you which applies to your order.

How to reach us about it

Chat with Hal. This is the fastest way to ask, and the best place to start. Hal will take the details the team needs and pass your conversation to a real person, so you do not have to explain it twice.

If you would rather write, email support@haloesim.com.

Either way, have this ready:

  • Your Halo order number (starts with HALO-)
  • Your device model
  • Confirmation that the eSIM profile has been deleted from your device
  • Whether the eSIM had been activated (did you use any data before deleting it?)

The team can re-send your original eSIM to your email, which is what resolves this in most cases. If the profile cannot be installed again, they will tell you what your options are. Once you have the eSIM, follow the setup guide for your device:

How to avoid accidental deletion

When removing SIM profiles from your device, take care to select the correct line. Your Halo eSIM will be labelled with the name you chose during installation (often “Travel” or “Secondary”).

iPhone: The Remove eSIM option is in Settings > Cellular > [eSIM line name]. It requires confirmation before deleting.

Android: The delete option is in your SIM manager settings. Review the line name before confirming removal.
