Countries and regions covered by Halo eSIM

Halo offers data plans for individual countries and multi-country regional plans. Check this page before purchasing to confirm your destination is covered.

How to check coverage

The destination page on the Halo website shows all available plans for each country. You can also browse by region to see which countries are included in a regional plan.

Visit Destinations to search for your travel destination.

Country plans

Country plans provide data coverage in a single country. When you select a country on the Halo website, you will see available plans with different data allowances and validity periods.

Coverage within each country depends on the local partner networks. Most countries have coverage across major cities, airports, and populated areas. Rural and remote areas may have limited or no coverage depending on local network infrastructure.

Regional plans

Regional plans cover multiple countries under a single data allowance. These are ideal if you are visiting several countries in one trip. Your data is shared across all covered countries – there is no per-country limit within the plan.

Europe – covers countries across Western, Central, and Eastern Europe including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and more. See the Europe destination guide for details.

Southeast Asia – covers Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and more.

North America – covers the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Australia & New Zealand – covers both countries on one plan. This is the plan name you will see on the website; searching for “Oceania” finds it too.

The full list of countries in each regional plan is shown on the plan details page before you purchase.

Coverage notes

  • Data only: All Halo plans provide mobile data. They do not include voice calls or SMS on the eSIM line.
  • Network selection: Your device connects automatically to a supported network at your destination. In most countries, Halo partners with multiple networks to provide the best available coverage.
  • Speed: Data speeds depend on the local network and your location. On fixed-data plans, Halo does not throttle speeds. On Unlimited (daily) plans, after the daily full-speed amount is used, Halo reduces speed for the rest of that day under its fair use policy; full speed returns at the next daily reset. Performance on all plans varies by country, network congestion, and distance from cell towers.
  • Tethering: Most Halo data plans support tethering (personal hotspot). Check the plan details page for your destination.

If your destination is not listed

Halo’s coverage expands regularly. If your destination is not currently listed on the website, it is not yet available. Check back before your trip or contact support@haloesim.com to ask about upcoming coverage.
