Halo’s Europe regional plan covers countries across Western, Central, and Eastern Europe under a single data allowance. One eSIM works across multiple countries – no need to purchase separate plans for each stop.
Coverage
European countries generally have strong mobile network coverage in cities, towns, airports, and along major transport routes. Coverage extends to most tourist areas, coastal regions, and ski resorts.
Rural and mountainous areas in some countries may have limited coverage. Alpine regions, remote Scottish Highlands, Scandinavian wilderness areas, and small Mediterranean islands may have gaps.

The Europe regional plan covers a wide range of countries. The full list of included countries is shown on the plan details page before purchase. Common destinations covered include:

Networks
Halo connects through major carrier networks in each European country. Your device will automatically select the strongest available network as you cross borders. There is no action needed on your part when moving between countries.
Tips for Europe
One eSIM, many countries. Your data allowance works across every country your chosen plan covers, and there is no need to switch plans or install a new eSIM when crossing borders. Fixed-data and Unlimited plans cover slightly different country lists, so check the coverage shown for your plan type on the plan details page.
Install before you fly. Download your Halo eSIM profile while connected to Wi-Fi before departure. The eSIM activates when you arrive.
Cross-border travel. When you cross from one European country to another (e.g. by train, car, or flight), your device will automatically switch to a local network. This may take a few minutes. If it does not connect, restart your device.
Train travel. Coverage on high-speed trains (Eurostar, TGV, ICE, AVE) is generally good but may drop in tunnels and remote stretches. The Channel Tunnel between the UK and France has no mobile coverage.
Ferries and islands. Coverage on ferries between countries is limited to coastal areas. Greek islands, Croatian islands, and other popular island destinations generally have coverage in towns and ports.
Switzerland and Norway. These countries are not in the EU. Confirm they are included in your specific plan by checking the plan details page before purchase.
Destination-specific notes
- Europe uses Band 3 (1800 MHz), Band 7 (2600 MHz), Band 20 (800 MHz), and Band 1 (2100 MHz) for 4G LTE. All modern smartphones support these bands.
- VPN usage is unrestricted across Europe.
- Monitor your data usage if visiting multiple countries, as streaming and navigation across a long trip can consume data quickly. See Check your remaining data.
